Struck by the Royal British Mint in 2017 this coin is the 2nd design released from the Queen's Beasts collection which is a ten-part series depicting the ten beasts who stood as statues outside of the Westminster Abbey during the new Queen's crowning, Queen Elizabeth II. This coin is struck from 10 Troy oz. 9999 pure silver and features the Griffin of Edward III representing a piece of Queen Elizabeth II heraldry. Featuring the Griffin of Edward the III. The face of the obverse features Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

Designed by Jody Clark, the reverse features a fierce depiction of a griffin rearing on is haunches over its coat of arms with unfurled wings. This design is a representation of the statue which stood outside Westminster Abbey proclaiming the Queen's heraldry. In GEM Brilliantly Uncirculated condition. Silver coin has been designated as GEM Brilliantly Uncirculated which means that the coin is well-struck, uncirculated and at least the grade of Proof 65 or higher. This coin comes packaged in the original Mint capsule!
