Design of the coin is based upon the iconic skull designs worn during the Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations. Measuring 25.5 mm x 38.3 mm, the coin is struck in an astounding high relief skull shape from 1 Troy oz. 999 fine silver, its mintage limited to only 1,750, issued by Palau. Elaborately Detailed Three Dimensional Design. The reverse features a dramatically sculpted skull shaped design enhanced with an antiqued finish. The three dimensional skull surface is ornately ornamented with leaves, scrolls, flowers and hearts, with a cross centered on the forehead.
