GOLD RUSH COINS & JEWELRY. Gold Rush Coins & Jewelry is pleased to offer this Vintage Chinese/Japanese Sycee Gold & Silver Lot Collection. These pieces are truly stunning. The smaller Gold Ingot is a 1/4 Tael.
It is p ure Gold and weighs 9.3 grams. It also bears the 000 hallmark stating its pure purity.The larger ingot is a full Tael, and weighs 37.5 grams. It is hallmarked 9999 ROYAL on the bottom. The gold bar is presumable a ceremony piece, which are typically given at weddings or anniversary's. The Gold bar is pure and weighs 25.3 grams.
Hallmarked on the bottom are two Chinese symbols. Last but not least in this ensemble is a Silver Dish. The dish is presumably Japanese. Intricately inscribed on the side of the dish is a large majestic mountain believed to be Mt. The silver dish weighs 27.5 grams and was presumably given as a gift to a large newspaper company in the early 20th Century.
This would be an amazing addition to any Chinese/Japanese or Orient collection. We also have other old Chinese precious metals (gold and silver), ingots that are not currently online.
