U. S. 1880-S Morgan Dollar, Prooflike, Uncirculated, Superb Silver Gem
This is a rare uncirculated prooflike coin, evidenced by (1) the shiny background showing that a specially-polished planchet was used in minting, and (2) the squared-off rims. Flawless images testify to its uncirculated condition. On the obverse side, George T. Morgan's classic depiction of Lady Liberty wears a Phrygian cap symbolizing freedom.
The reverse presents the traditional American eagle with olive branch and arrows-peace through strength.
